Lorraine Azzinaro

VP & Director, Finance & Insights

Meet Lorraine Azzinaro, the numbers hero and VP & Director of Finance & Insights at E4E Relief. This financial whiz could probably balance the books while standing on her head, but she prefers to keep her feet firmly planted on the ground – unless she's skydiving, that is.

Lorraine's superpower? Getting people to speak in questions. It's her secret weapon for fostering collaboration and exchanging information. Just don't ask her to perform in an office talent show, as the risk of witnessing a human chameleon turn fifty shades of red is high.

When she's not juggling spreadsheets and insights, Lorraine dreams of trading her calculator for a table saw. Yes, you read that right. This finance and operations guru harbors a secret passion for woodworking. For her, it's all about applying those mathematical skills to create something tangible.

Speaking of tangibles, Lorraine's favorite word is "comfort," which explains her pasta shape of choice: fettuccine. Why? Because Alfredo sauce, of course! Her affinity for it could be associated with how confidently and seamlessly Lorraine brings comfort and calm to the fast-paced, deadline-driven world of finance. She also lives for those "aha!" moments when her proteges grasp, not just the "what" and "how," but the all-important "why." It's like watching a financial Jedi master in action.

Lorraine's life philosophy definitely involves stopping to smell the roses. Or, more specifically, stopping to absorb the moment. Whether it's her wedding day or a particularly riveting board meeting (yes, that can be a thing), she's all about soaking it all in. After all, life's too short to miss out on those special moments, even if they involve profit and loss statements.

To those with E4E Relief team member aspirations, Lorraine says, “Ask questions, but really listen to the answers so you can move to the next phase, which is collaboration. Ask, listen, think and apply (and reiterate if necessary).”

It’s sound advice for people in any profession...and, of course, for those seeking balance, empowerment and a great team (of food afficionados).
