Angel Wall
VP, Application Operations
Angel Wall brings a rare mix of precision and personality to her work leading application operations at E4E Relief. She is guided by a piece of advice that reads like her personal source code, “Decide what to be and go be it,” and there is nothing hesitant about the way she shows up once her mind is set.
She is sharp, observant and not especially interested in pretending to be otherwise. If a coworker were introducing her to a room full of strangers, the less spicy version would probably be that she is wildly talented, dangerously funny and very likely to tell you the absolute truth. Her self-assigned brand tagline, “Are you kidding me,” only strengthens the case and tends to land exactly as intended.
There is plenty of structure behind all that spark. Angel runs her mornings in the exact same sequence every day because experience has taught her that if she does not, something gets left behind: coffee or keys or both. It feels perfectly on brand for someone whose work style she compares to Law & Order SVU which means facts, consistency and fairness, handled case by case until the outcome makes sense to everyone involved.
She can put Sriracha on just about anything, loves true crime enough to want “Snapped” in the title of her hypothetical career documentary and will stop mid-sentence if a Michael Jackson song comes on.
In fact she would be delighted if “Don’t Stop 'Til You Get Enough” played every time she walked into a room because, as a lifelong MJ fan, her attention can be completely hijacked by hearing one of his songs in the wild.
If she could borrow one super skill from a colleague, it would be the ability to absorb a room full of overlapping opinions and translate all that sound into something useful and clear... in no more than three sentences. The fact that she admires that ability says a lot about Angel too; she values people who can cut through chaos, stay raw level honest and help the whole room 10x efforts. She admires it but, when she’s around her colleagues, they mirror it.
